PROJECT 53
We are quite excited to have located an all-original, one-owner, freshwater 1976 Boston Whaler Revenge 19 O/B. We love the look and ride of these classic Revenge 19s. Used exclusively by a western New York owner on Lake Erie for salmon fishing, this Revenge has been extremely well-maintained. The Revenge 19 was introduced by Boston Whaler in 1973 and produced through the 1979 model year. She has never spent a night in the water, was always trailered inside when not in use, and was last registered in 1992 (in barn storage for 31 years!).
The Revenge 19 is designed for all facets of water activity. Its stability makes it ideal for diving as well as fishing. Its performance makes it excellent for pulling skiers or carrying a large number of passengers. The large, functional cockpit offers safe, unobstructed movement, protected by a tinted, tempered walk-through windshield and molded stern seat. With the optional canvas system, the boat is weather-tight. Forward, the bow deck with a well-designed bow rail and non-skid surface serves as a lounging and casting platform.
Below is ample storage area and space, which can also be converted to a sleeping space with the cushion set. The stern fish well keeps the catch fresh or beverages cold. Under the bow deck is another molded-in storage locker that drains directly through the hull; it's great for dry storage or iced beverages. Standard Revenge 19 O/B features include red rubrail insert, two swivel seats, anodized aluminum windshield with tinted safety glass, stainless steel bow rail and side grab bars, mechanical steering system, 40-gallon internal fuel tank, 8” stern cleats, bow chock, bow bitt, bow and stern navigation lights wired to fused switch panel, under-deck cushion set with platform filler, stainless steel ski eyes with lifting eyes and bow eye, stainless steel companion seat grab rail, rod racks, dome light, and fire extinguisher.
Optional OEM equipment on this Revenge includes Wm J Mills canvas flying top set (top with boot, side curtains, and drop curtain), Wm J Mills canvas mooring cover, and Ritchie Navigator compass. This Revenge is powered by the original 1976 Mercury 175hp V-6 Black Max (1st year offered) outboard with power trim/tilt. The Black Max 175hp was the largest outboard offered on the Revenge 19 in 1976, pushing her to an impressive 49 mph. The Black Max motor has recently been serviced to include a new fuel pump, water pump, gear oil, carb clean/sync, spark plugs, and thermostats. The engine has even compression and runs excellently. Also included is a 1978 Mercury 20hp "kicker" outboard to assist in trolling at slower speeds and to provide a backup propulsion source.
This 1976 Boston Whaler 19’ Revenge has its original Gator heavy-duty, dual axle trailer with 7 keel rollers, electric winch, and hydraulic surge brakes. The Gator rounds out this original package perfectly. The trailer has been completely gone through with all bearings repacked, added bearing buddies, brakes serviced, new tires, and lights tested. We are excited to offer this versatile Revenge 19 in excellent original condition as she turns heads everywhere she goes and will provide years of great enjoyment to the future owner.
We just love the look, style and ride of these classic Revenge 19s!
