Looking for a Boston Whaler time capsule? Look no further! This is a sparkling, seemingly-fresh-out-of-the-factory, Classic Boston Whaler. She is among the nicest 13’ Super Sports that we have seen.

BOAT HISTORY: We located this clean, freshwater, low hour (< 150 hrs), one-owner, all-original Classic Boston Whaler 13’ Super Sport north of Detroit, Michigan from the original owner. She was purchased new in 1989 and was only used one week every summer on Torch Lake outside Traverse City, Michigan.

BOAT CONDITION: This beauty is in absolutely factory new condition. She has been stored for approximately 51 weeks every year in a heated garage. The varnish is original, has never been refinished and shines like new. The hull is perfect and still retains the high gloss shine from the factory. She has never been kept in the water overnight and never had any bottom paint.

MODEL HISTORY: The Classic Boston Whaler 13’ Super Sport model was introduced in 1984 and remained in production until 1994. Among the 13’ Classic Boston Whaler hulls, the Super Sport was the most highly optioned 13’ model available from Boston Whaler with a mahogany interior.

STANDARD OPTIONS: Super Sports feature a full wraparound stainless railing, upgraded mahogany interior including extended side steering console with forward thwart seat backrest, full width aft thwart seat backrest and molded storage compartment as standard equipment.

EXTRA OPTIONS: This Super Sport also has the factory optioned tan Boston Whaler battery box with Kevlok strap, Ritchie Explorer flush mount compass, Perko bow light/chock assembly with SS pole stern light package, gas tank mats, and twin 6-gallon Yamaha fuel tanks.

PROPULSION: She is equipped with her original 1988 Yamaha Precision-Blend 40hp twin cylinder two-stroke, electric start/choke outboard with power trim/tilt and automatic oil injection. The Yamaha 40hp twin cylinder outboard is known as a reliable, high performing, and lightweight motor which is desirable for the Classic Boston Whaler 13’ hull given its high power:weight ratio and can support watersports activities with ease. This motor has been fully serviced (water pump, spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel/water separator, carb sync, gear oil, etc.), retains all the original paint with zero corrosion and presents in like-new operating and mechanical condition.

TRAILER: She is fitted to her original, custom-built Eagle trailer painted desert tan to match the boat’s gelcoat - the perfect complement to this quite special all-original Classic Boston Whaler 13’ Super Sport.

TDC COMMENTS: It goes without saying that like-new Classic Boston Whalers are extremely difficult to locate. in such incredible condition. We have had many incredible 13’ Super Sports, but this girl is absolutely one of the best. She is ready to splash.
