BOAT HISTORY: This 1998 Classic Boston Whaler 40th Anniversary Edition 13' is an excellent example of this highly desirable, limited-production model. We located this clean, low-hour, original Anniversary Edition near the Virginia/North Carolina border and acquired her from the second owner. She was used sparingly by both owners, exclusively on Lake Gaston, and always kept in climate-controlled storage when not in use.

BOAT CONDITION: This 40th Anniversary Edition 13' remains in excellent original condition. The interior mahogany has been refinished with classic high-gloss marine varnish. All chrome and stainless-steel fittings and hardware remain in excellent condition. She has never been kept in the water and has never received bottom paint.

MODEL HISTORY: To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic 13-foot Boston Whaler, the factory introduced a special limited edition in 1998, with only 250 hulls produced. The gelcoat colors returned to the original white hull and blue interior. Highly polished mahogany seats and console also returned, featuring a more modern design and improved dashboard area. A brass plate on the dashboard identified each hull's production number.

The white rub rails remained faithful to the original design, while the mahogany received a UV-inhibiting finish to improve wear. The stainless-steel side rail configuration was also updated, mounting directly to the topsides rather than inboard to the cockpit.

EXTRA OPTIONS: This 40th Anniversary Edition 13' is equipped with a full OEM cushion package in like-new condition.

PROPULSION: This 1998 Classic Boston Whaler 40th Anniversary Edition 13' is equipped with a low-hour, highly desirable and reliable 3-cylinder Mercury 40-hp two-stroke oil-injected outboard motor, featuring electric start, electric choke, and power trim/tilt.

TRAILER: She is fitted to her original Load Rite galvanized trailer, featuring the Whaler-prescribed keel rollers accompanied by carpeted side bunks.
