We sold this boat to an active yachtsman who, after running the boat for 2 years, concluded that he wanted a bigger boat (happens!). We purchased the boat back and have re-powered with a new 25 HP Yamaha outboard. Updated photos with new outboard are shown at the end of the photos string.
Original Description:
This Sport is in unbelievable original condition and was very difficult to locate. This all original Sport was located outside Richmond, VA. This is a one owner Sport that was used on Lake Anna in Northwest, Virginia exclusively and has never seen saltwater. The mahogany was refinished and hull cleaned and polished. This Sport is optioned from the factory with stainless side railings, Wm J. Mills & Company bimini w/boot, red Ritchie Explorer model 15 compass and bow and stern navigation lights. The original 40hp 2-cylinder Mercury outboard is one of the lightest weight 40hp outboards available in 1989 and is highly desired for the 13’ hull. This is an excellent example of a low hour, original, freshwater Sport ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.
